God Damn The Secularists.
By Uncle Monty.

Secularists by nature are not amenable to religion
of any kind in their relentless quest to overthrow all
things religious that are haboured and/or protected
under civil law and state authority. The institutions
of faith are sitting ducks for the venom and aims
of the God damn secularists.

The National Secular Society's "2011 Conference
on Secularism" was a perfect setting for me to hear
and digest what the non-religious secularists think
and believe. I thought at first the conference might
be boring, but it turned out to be most interesting
to me after meeting and hearing such secularists
as Baroness Mary Warnock, Dr. Antony Lempert,
ex-LibDem MP Dr. Evan Harris, Baroness Turner
of Camden, and national journalist Nick Cohen at
the day-long confernece at London's Conway Hall.

British Journalist, Author & Secularist Nick Cohen.
...
A secularists down to his fingertips, Nick Cohen
was the first speaker to speak at the day-long
conference. Unfortunately, I was unable to hear
much of what he said as I sat at the far back
of the conference room that was acoustically
bloody awful. Whatever he said he was greeted
warmly by his fellow secularists if that is anything
to gauge his true performance and open-end
speech. He took quite a few questions from the
delegates after he'd finished his 25-minute or
so presentation that was like a piece of cake to
Nick Cohen. He quickly left the conference as
soon as he'd answered all the questions.

Dr. Antony Lempert, Chairman,
Secular Medical Forum.
...
Not for one moment did I think the secularists'
agenda also included such issues as Female Genital
Murilation, Ritual Non-Therapeutic Circumision, Coat
Hanger Abortions, and how "The Pope spilled the
beans on HIV," that Dr. Antony Lempert, Chairman,
Secular Medical Forum, raised in his presenation at
the Conference on Secularism. The delegates for the
most part embraced Dr. Lempert's oddball speech.
...
Dr. Evan Harris, Ex-Liberal Democrat
MP for Oxford West & Abingdon.
...
Then we heard from Dr. Evan Harris, (shown above)
who presented his Secular Manifesto 2.0, that calls
for State Religious Neutrality, end of religious privilege,
impose separation of Church and State (like that of the
USA), and wants an end to discrimination against
non-religious beliefs and organizations, wants to allow
Royals to marry Catholics against the historic law
of the British Act of Settlement, limiting the status of
conscientious objections in delivering public services,
and above all, he wants a non-religious legal system.
But, what else does this quirky fellow Evan Harris
want? A non-Anglican and non-British Queen
or King?

The problem today in the UK is that traditional Christian
religion and faith is already under an onslaught of media
and political attacks and religious rejection by the UK
majority of non-church going public. Such attacks aid
and abet the continuing rise of Islam in the UK. The
weaker they make the national religion, the stronger is the
rise of more Islamic mosques, Muslim teachings and the
vile spread of Shia/Sunni dogma inside the British Isles.
The British secularists do grave harm to Anglicanism,
Catholicism and Judaism, in favour of such menacing
Muslims, I do believe. Plus, secularism to me smells
very much like hideous world socialism, which I
utterly detest and reject in whatever shape and
shade it comes in.

GEORGE JACOB HOLYOAKE (1817-1906)
The founder of Secularism was born in Birmingham,
England. For some years he taught mathematics
and lectured on Robert Owen's socialist system.
He edited The Reasoner and promoted the bill
legalizing secular affirmations. Holyoake was the
last person imprisoned in England on a charge
of atheism (1842). He wrote the history of the
Co-operative movement, on secularism, Sixty
Years of an Agitator's Life (1892), Public
Speaking and Debate (1895), &c. Reference:
Chambers Biographical Dictionary, p. 656, 1974.

With a couple of hundred conference delegates
that also included me, I was glad the conference was
not stampeded by thousands of anti-religious people.
As an avid English Anglican, I found it hard to contain
my personal feelings against such secularists that I heard.
While I agree with their right to freely express their
secularists' views, I felt alone in my pro-religious dis-
position at the conference that all the talk in the world
could not change my firm stand and belief in the goodness
of faith over those with non-faith and decidedly those
holding a pro-secular canopy. There was nothing - not
one word - that convinced me of the secularist cause
and agenda. No, not one word despite such erudite
presentations that I heard. To be a secularist is to be
religiously dead and without any trace of faith in life
or before one's own death. I love The Church no
matter how frail it sometimes looks or its leader-
ship errors that compounds its problems due all
too often to its own making in all too many cases.
The End of The Church Age is predicted, but
until then I remain a faithful servant no matter what
the secularists do or say. In fact, I say God damn
the secularists and those who disobey The Word.

Among the roster of Honorary Associates of The National
Secular Society (NSS), I found it was like reading the
names from some kind of atheistic Twilight Zone that
included Richard Dawkins, David Starkey, Christopher
Hitchens, Gore Vidal, Ludovic Kennedy, Polly Toynbee,
and A. C. Grayling. Sorry, not for me!!
...
In its march and rally last month opposite Downing
Street, the National Secular Society also protested
against "the special status of the Vatican in the United
Nations, state-funded faith schools, the economic pri-
vilege and political influence of the Vatican, and the
privileged status of churches under Article 17 of the
Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union."
My own perception of NSS is that it is bordering on
being anti-Catholic in its public and private protests.
While I am not Catholic myself as an avowed
Anglican, I see the Holy Catholic Church as a major
bulwark and firm firewall against the wild rise and un-
controllable spread of dangerous Islam around the
world and most especially inside secular-leaning
Europe. If anything, I would strongly support the
strengthening of Christian churches and non-Islamic
religious entities to also combat the intrusion of
invidious secularism - like vile political correctness
and menacing Islam -at every level of today's English
and European societies. And so once again I say,
"God Damn The Secularists."

Rising atheism in America puts 'religious right on
the defensive.' High profile of faith-based politicians
such as Michele Bachmann and Rick Perry
masks a steady growth in secularism.

German website allows congregations to rate clergy.
Berlin (ENInews) - Does your pastor set a glowing example
to his or her flock? Or does the herd tend to drift? A new
website launched in Germany allows churchgoers to rate their
"shepherd's" performance on worship, youth work, work with
seniors, credibility, and engagement with current issues. "The
idea behind Hirtenbarometer [shepherd barometer] is that
pastoral work should be and often is qualitative," one of the
website's founders, Andreas Hahn, said in an email interview.

between priests and the members of congregations."

"And while millions of their fellow Africans inside Africa
are literally starving to death, most immigrant Africans
inside the UK don't give a damn or dime as they now
live and sponge off the hog and have more babies for
us to take care of. And, they now also live a freebie
life that they have never known before in their own
shantytowns. Now they have never had it so good
thanks to vile New Labour that let them all in by the
millions to deliberately swamp the country in favour
of future votes for British Labour. Such has now
made Third World ghettoes all over the place inside
the UK of the like never before seen or allowed until
the evil rise and nasty ilk of mass immigrationist and
war criminal Tony Blair, who purposely deceived
the British People during his hideous three terms
in office. Sod him!!"
