the seven official distribution points at:
Vauxhall – 7am/6pm.

No. 827 edition will be a two-week issue and
will be the last of the year, 2oo8. The cost to
vendors will be 70 pence each, as usual.

(UPDATE: The Comic Issue was purposely
delayed for sale by The Big Issue in order for
it to get rid of its many unsold bundles of last
week's Festive Special that resulted in the
vendors being forced to sell that after the
original print date and before they’d release
the Dec. 22nd, Comic Issue to them to sell.
Thus, vendors suffered and the public was
denied buying the newest issue. The
Comic Issue had sat warehoused for at
least 4 days while vendors were denied
the new issue to sell at Christmastide.
What it really amounted to was them
pulling a fast one on its own Big Issue
vendors. And, Big Issue got away with
it at the expense of all concerned,
except them.)

:: Perhaps Going Bonkers, I think ::
By Uncle Monty.
I'm not quite sure what to make of Steve
Farrell's unusual outburst on Xmas Eve
when he seemed to go "bonkers" on me for
awhile when he suddenly spewed out:
"Fucking, Fucking, Fucking, SHUT UP"
with his face all torn-up with his strange
facial expressions as he tried to count out
my £52.50 in cash for 75 copies of the new
Big Issue No. 827. He then repeated again
what he had "fuckingly" expressed. And,
I was then shut-up. I wasn't sure if it was
an angry or a non-angry reaction to me or
what. All I can say, is that I'd never seen
Steve in such an expressive mode before at
his job of being a good Big Issue distributor
at our Covent Garden spot with his new
helper Nick. I just hope Steve is okay ...
